Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 5 Deals: $150 Off Unlocked Models, Free With Trade-In and More

Samsung hasn't dropped its starting price on the Z Flip 5, but it is offering a free storage upgrade, which saves you $120 on the step-up 512GB model. Plus, you can save up to $600 when you trade in your old phone. Recent models from Apple, Samsung and Google will net you the biggest discount, but even old phones will score you at least $200 in savings. 

Carriers are also offering extra savings when you purchase your new phone through Samsung. AT&T customers will save up to $1,000 with an eligible trade-in and purchase on an installment plan, while Verizon customers will save up to $800 with a trade-in (as long as you have or switch to an eligible unlimited plan). T-Mobile customers can save $1,000 with a new line, no trade-in required. 

Samsung is also offering some additional savings on other devices when bundled with this purchase, including $114 off a Galaxy Watch 6 and $130 off a pair of Galaxy Buds 2 Pro. 

You can save $150 on all unlocked configurations of the Z Flip 5 right now at Best Buy, which drops the 256GB model to $850 and the 512GB model to $970. Plus, this deal also comes with a $50 Best Buy e-gift card. You can save even more if you have an old phone to trade in. Verizon customers will get enhanced trade-in credit, which can save you up to $1,000 as long as you have, or switch to, an eligible unlimited plan. 

Like Best Buy, Amazon is offering $150 off all configurations of the Z Flip 5, which drops the starting price to $850. Amazon also has its own trade-in program that lets you save up to $401 in exchange for your old phone. 

If T-Mobile is your carrier of choice, there are four options:

• Trade in your old phone and have or switch to a Go5G Next or Go5G Plus plan and get your new foldable for free.
• Add a new line on a Go5G Next or Go5G Plus plan and get the phone for free.
• Save $600 when you add a new line on a different qualifying service plan.
• Just trade in your old phone and save up to $350 if you have a Go5G plan, or up to $200 if you're on a different qualifying service plan.

You can get the new Galaxy Z Flip 5 free when you purchase it on an installment plan and trade in an eligible phone. You'll get the full discount for any device valued at just $95 or more, and even old and damaged devices worth at least $35 will net you $800 in trade-in credit. The discount will be applied as bill credits over 36 months. 

You can also score a free Galaxy Watch 6 with the purchase, but you'll need a new line of service for the smartwatch as well. Just add both items to your cart to get the discount. 

New and existing customers can score some Z Flip 5 savings at Verizon. If you're adding a new line of service on a qualifying 5G unlimited plan, you can save up to $1,000 with an eligible trade-in, which scores you the basic 256GB model for free. If you're an existing Verizon customer who qualifies for an upgrade, you can still save up to $800 with just a trade-in.

Verizon is also offering some other bonuses, including $350 off a Samsung Galaxy Watch 6 and a free Samsung Galaxy Tab S9 FE 5G, though you'll need a new line of service for these devices. New Verizon customers will get a $200 gift card when they switch over their existing number from another carrier. And if you need more than one new Z Flip 5, you can buy one and save $800 on another.
